THE PRIVATE, OPEN-SOURCE FAMILY WISHLIST
Less “what would you like?”
More “how did you know?”

Free to use. Yours to keep. No subscriptions.

LESS ADMIN. MORE “THAT’S SO THEM.”
That book they mentioned. The thing they’d never buy themselves. A day out together.
Keep the good ideas in one place all year. When a birthday, Christmas or a just-because moment comes around, the family knows where to look.
The tiny independent shop. Your favourite big store. A homemade cake. Save what you love, with or without a link.
Quietly claim a gift so the others know it’s covered. The person receiving it never sees who’s buying what.
Everyone in your invited family can help with every list. Share a read-only link with a friend when they ask for ideas.

FROM “OOH, THAT’S NICE” TO ON THE LIST
A good idea shouldn’t get lost in an open tab.
Share a product from your phone or tap your browser button. Family Wishlist opens an editable draft, ready for the right person’s list.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF WISHLIST APP
Family Wishlist is built around your family’s gift ideas. You get the whole tool, without a sales agenda attached.
See what earns your trustRun your own copy in your Cloudflare account. Your lists and gift plans live there, under your control.
No ads, behavioural tracking or analytics scripts in the app. Family Wishlist doesn’t add affiliate tags to your links.

TWO WAYS TO MAKE IT YOURS
A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
All the detail, without the small print hunt.
Yes. The software is free under the MIT licence, and a normal family installation is designed to fit within Cloudflare’s free plans. You can use an included workers.dev address, so buying a domain is optional. Cloudflare’s allowances apply; paid setup help from Furls is optional too.
You can save an idea with any ordinary shop link, or add a wish without a link at all. The importer can suggest a name, picture and GBP price when the shop shares useful details. If a site blocks the lookup, you can fill in the wish yourself.
Your own wishlist never receives claim or purchase information from the server. Other family members can see who is getting a gift, so they can coordinate while your surprise stays a surprise.
No. Family members can use a web browser and sign in with an emailed one-time PIN. Android sharing uses the installed web app, iPhone and iPad sharing uses an Apple Shortcut, and desktop sharing uses a bookmark button. These are optional conveniences.
Everyday use is straightforward. The initial setup does involve GitHub, Cloudflare and some command-line steps. There is a detailed installation guide, or you can ask Furls for a quote to help you set it up in your own account.
Yes. Create a read-only viewing link for one person’s list and send it to a friend or relative. Anyone with that link can see those wishes, but never gift claims. You can stop an individual link from working whenever you like.
